We believe that we are here to provide 21st Century Catholic Education, that enables children to strive for excellence, centred on the teachings of Jesus Christ. 

Our school was founded by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart and we continue to promote the Charism of the foundress Blessed Mary McKillop who had deep faith and love of God, great courage, a love of children and a love of children and families. 

Our motto, 'Be not afraid' is about standing tall and being proud of who we are. 

As a Catholic intergrated School we teach the NZ Curriculum and the Religious Education Curriculum of the Catholic Church as both a stand alone curriculum and woven through other Curriculum areas. 

We have strong links to our parish and use the church for Prayer Assemblies each Monday morning where we concentrate on a Charism each fortnight.
