History
We are proudly a 'Josephite' school that opened on the 16th June 1921. Being staffed by the Sisters of St Joseph of the Scared Heart of Jesus (fondly known
as the 'Brown Joes'), we follow the Charism of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop who was cannonized a saint in 2010.
This Charism is best summarized in love of God and love of children and families. St Mary MacKillop was born in Australia and visited New Zealand on a number of occasions.
