Once you students completes their 8 years at our school, we believe that your child is fully equipped to enter the realm of Secondary School.
Most of our students carry on with Catholic Education by travelling through to Hamilton to either Sacred Heart Girl's College or St John's College, both of which we have a very close and warm relationship with.
Both of these Colleges visit our school in about late May/early June of your child's Year 8 year and bring former St Pat's students to explain the 'day to day' operations of the respect colleges from the student's point of view. Prospectuses are given to any interested students at that time with the 'final day' for enrolment being
approximately the 20th of June.
Both Colleges have very few, if any non-preference spaces and it is recommended that, should your child
not be attending our school as a Year 8 student, that you contact the relevant college early, to avoid disappointment.
Buses leave from the Information Centre in Te Awamutu at about 7:30am and travel directly to the respective colleges and return direct from the colleges to Te Awamutu after school, arriving at about 3:50pm.
