Our School Board
The School Board is the Crown entity responsible for the governance of the school. The Board's job is to see that everything that needs to be done gets done - legally, ethically, and as well as possible, in the best interests of its students.
The St Patrick's Catholic School Board is made up of four elected parent representatives, three Bishop's representatives, a staff representative and the principal. We also have a Board secretary.
Our Board meets on the Wednesdays of Week 5 and Week 10 each term, dates are in the School Calendar and advertised in the Newsletter. These meetings are public meetings and anyone is welcome to attend. The minutes of previous Board meetings are available to the public from the school office.

My name is Haley Fielder and I’m one of the Proprietor’s Representatives on the School Board. The Proprietor’s Reps assist the Board in ensuring the school remains a Catholic School, fulfilling its primary purpose, which is to give a Catholic Education to Catholic children and young people, and we report back to the Bishop annually. I was born and bred in Te Awamutu and attended St Patrick’s Catholic School for my primary and intermediate years. I am now proud to be a St Pat’s mum with all of my three children spread throughout the school.Catherine Tobin
